In need of a book recommendation? Here are the last 3 good books that I read. Wolf Winter by Cecilia Ekbäck, The Dream Lover by Elizabeth Berg, and The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. I enjoyed each for its own reasons - though the first two especially. My favorite of the three was Wolf Winter. I loved the prose, the characters, and the atmosphere. As a writer, Ekbäck reminds me of Hilary Mantel. It’s hard to believe Wolf Winter is her first novel, and that she wrote it in her non-native language. Highly, highly recommend!
